Would You Like To Have More Time?

To expand time
According to quantum physics, time doesn’t actually exist. In fact, Einstein postulated that past, present and future are all happening simultaneously.

While that may be true, most of us live by the clock and time is very real to us. We often lead such busy lives that the thought of having more of that precious resource we call time would be a godsend.

Many successful yet overly busy Americans now consider time to be an even more precious resource than money – often feeling cash-rich but time-poor.

We’re always in a hurry. According to Google, if a website is more than 250 milliseconds slower than a competitor, we move on. Or, if an online video takes longer than 5 seconds to load, we bolt.

We’re so fixated on time that there’s even a “death clock” that counts down how much time you may have left to live!

Everyone has the same 24 hours each day. But what if you could game the system? What if you could expand time?

It was about twenty years ago when I first started playing with time. I was in the process of completing my Master’s degree. At night. After working all day. All I wanted to do, after such a long day, was get home to my husband and my dog. And my bed! Class ended at 9:50 pm and it was a 20 minute drive home. And, yet, I wanted to be home by 10:00. Impossible, right?

As soon as class was over, I started affirming, “I’ll be home by 10:00.” I didn’t check the time on the drive home and merely kept focusing on being home by 10:00. And, would you believe it? Almost every time, as I drove into the garage, the digital clock showed exactly 10:00!

Over the years, I’ve continued to play with expanding time. Recently, I had a 6:30 appointment and I wanted to make a stop before then. According to the clock, I didn’t have enough time. This is the scenario that played out in my head:

Inner Being: “What do you want?”

Me: “I want to do both and have plenty of time.”

Inner Being, who doesn’t believe in lack and limitation: “You can have what you want.”

So I proceeded to do both and even got to my 6:30 appointment with time to spare. Being able to expand a “scarce resource” like time is so much fun!

Most Law of Attraction savvy folks accept that you can have what you want if you’re willing to let go of limiting beliefs. It should, therefore, be possible to create more time if you believe you can.

We have so many expressions that make us feel like we never have enough time. Notice how you feel when you think:
gold starI’m always pressed for time.
gold starAs time permits.
gold starI’m always in a hurry.
gold starI’m running out of time.
gold starThere aren’t enough hours in the day.

Now notice how you feel when you imagine time is on your side:
gold starI have all the time in the world.
gold starTime is my friend.
gold starMy time is my own.
gold starI have an abundance of time.
gold starI move at my own speed, always feeling relaxed.

It’s your choice – a lack of time or an abundance of time. Try it out. Set your intention to get somewhere or accomplish a task in less time that it usually takes and see what happens. Remind yourself throughout the day that you have the luxury of time to do everything you want to do.

Knowing I can expand time, I’m wondering if I can speed it up too. I think I’ll try that at next week’s dentist appointment!
